Wow.. Blogspot's so cool.. They can now allow us to upload videos straight away.. I am just continuing my update on some of the interesting places I've been to lately, and today was one such instance. I followed the recommendation of my sensei, Makiko, and made a suggestion to my cell group members to go to Tea Chapter for the meetup. It's a really nice place! They have authentic tea of the strictest quality control, with the ambience completely catered for tea lovers (the real ones, not the kopi tiam ones.. Sorry Wenzheng!! =P). The tea demonstration was so educational I decided to put it up and share it with the rest of my friends. Hahaha. Do visit Tea Chapter at No. 11 Neil Rd!
Another interesting place I had been to recently is at Rochester Park, a quiant little patisserie tucked in the quiet corner of Singapore called Twelve + One Patisserie. It is totally regrettable that the management made a sudden decision to close down on Christmas Day last year. Perhaps it is because the place was really tucked away so well that it suffered its fate for being inconspicuous to the public eye. This photo log is a tribute to that wonderful place that left wonderful memories short-lived as it was.
Some places in life really need to be cherished as a 'been-there' experience. And so, I wanna unveil my big plans for this year.. Are you ready? *drum roll* This year, I am going to try to experience something I read so much about as a young and impressionable boy. I WANT TO SEE APPLE TREES! Before my very eyes and see for myself why it lent such beautifully descriptive and enchanting language to children's book authors.
